Fiscal Intermediary Intake Coordinator

Summary/Objective:
The position of an Intake Associate works regularly with internal as well as external contacts. The position requires good communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multi-step processes and prioritization of tasks.

Hybrid:
Monday - Friday with 2 days in the office and 3 days home.

Essential Functions

  • Processing Fiscal Intermediary paperwork into Enrollment Module and Access Databases
  • Handling of the Intake Inbox/Fax box, while responding to a large number of emails, faxes, and phone calls daily
  • Printing FI paperwork (PDFs)
  • Logging & reviewing Fiscal Intermediary paperwork
  • Intake line
  • Training staff
  • Obtain Employee Identification Numbers (EINS) from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) website
  • Calling the IRS and consumers or surrogates
  • Assistance with the preparation of the FI Quarterly meetings
  • Make address changes and process terminations in the Enrollment module
  • Manage reports generated from the Enrollment module
  • Preparation of 2678 letters to the IRS
  • Provide analysis of software performance and provide suggestions and/or results
  • Report all suspected incidents of consumer abuse and neglect to the Disabled Person Protection Commission (DPPC)
  • All other duties assigned by the Intake Supervisor

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
